Privacy Policy
Last updated: July 21, 2026
This Privacy Policy explains what information Slingshott Systems, LLC ("we", "us", "our"), operator of Theological (the "Service"), collects when you use our website and app, how we use it, and the choices you have. By using the Service you agree to this policy.
Information we collect
- Account information. When you sign in with Google, Microsoft, or Facebook, we receive your email address, name, and profile picture from that provider and store them to create and identify your account.
- Your content. The calendars, planners, events, and design preferences you create. If you are signed in, this is saved to your account so you can access it on any device; if you are not signed in, it is stored only in your browser.
- Payment information. Purchases are processed by Stripe. We do not receive or store your card number. Stripe holds your name, email, billing/shipping address (for physical orders), and transaction history.
- Usage analytics. We use a product analytics provider to understand how the app is used — so we can improve the user experience, monitor the app for errors and reliability issues, and inform product decisions. This includes product events and, for signed-in or purchasing users, your email and name as identifying properties.
- Cookies and similar technologies. We use an essential HTTP-only session cookie to keep you signed in. Our payment processor (Stripe) and our analytics provider may also set cookies or use similar browser storage to process payments and measure usage. We do not use advertising cookies.
How we use your information
- Provide the service and sync your work across your devices.
- Process purchases and fulfil printed orders.
- Understand and improve the product.
- Respond to your support requests.
Marketing communications
With your consent, we may send you occasional emails about new features, offers, or updates. Every marketing email includes an unsubscribe link, and you can opt out at any time by using it or by contacting us. Opting out does not affect essential transactional emails, such as order confirmations.
Facebook Login
If you sign in with Facebook, we request your email and public profile. We use them solely to create or sign in to your account — the same as our other sign-in providers. We do not post to Facebook or access anything else on your behalf.
How we share information
We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with the service providers that help us run the Service, such as:
- Payment processing (currently Stripe).
- Printing and shipping — print orders (planners, homeschool planners and wall calendars) are produced and shipped by our external print partner, which receives the print files and your shipping details.
- Product analytics.
- Authentication — the provider you choose to sign in with (Google, Microsoft, or Facebook).
Security
We take reasonable measures to protect your information, including encryption in transit (HTTPS), access controls, and reputable service providers. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, however, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Data retention and deletion
We keep your account data for as long as your account exists. You can request deletion of your account and associated data at any time — see our Data Deletion instructions. Some records (for example, payment and order records held by Stripe) may be retained where required for legal, tax, or accounting purposes.
Your rights
You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information by contacting us. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under laws such as the GDPR or CCPA.
Children
The service is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them.
Changes
We may update this policy from time to time; we will revise the "Last updated" date above when we do.
